Entre las nuevas creaciones de Jachym, se encuentran tres nuevos "plugins":
- Gráficos Radiales: Una nueva y curiosa manera de presentar nuestros datos, en forma de gráfico radial:

- Analizador de Weatherdisplay:
Tomando los datos de los siguientes archivos del programa WeatherDisplay: clientraw.txt, clientrawextra.txt, clientrawhour.txt y clientrawdaily.txt, nos presenta estos mismos datos en siete apartados, en forma de tablas y gráficos dinámicos (Highcharts):

I was asked if I could create a fully localized textual forecast for Spain, so here it is. It is a 2-day forecast for all the Spanish provinces.

Una nueva actualización de Meteotemplate: Clasificación de los climas
Jachym ha publicado un nuevo "plugin" dedicado a la clasificación de los climas.
Como siempre, ha hecho un trabajo profundo y riguroso. Muy, muy interesante.
Podemos ponernos al día en un tema nada fácil de estudiar.
Además dispone de "calculadores" del clima, mapas, ..

Las clasificaciones que aparecen abajo, en el enlace, Köppen,Trewartha, Alisov, y Thornthwaite -con una e al final, que se ha perdido- son clásicas y admitidas en general por todo el mundo. También conviene advertir que no sin discusión.
Para empezar a estudiar climas hay que manejarlas contínuamente.
Köppen especialmente, su clasificación (y su mapa, que se reproduce también en el enlace) se recoge y se tiene en cuenta en lo referido a la península Ibérica en el Atlas climático ibérico, de AEMET y el Instituto de meteorología de Portugal, que puede descargarse de aquí: http://www.aemet.es/es/serviciosclimaticos/datosclimatologicos/atlas_climatico
Además, el calculador incluido en el enlace nos permite decidir ante qué tipo de clima nos encontramos , introduciendo en él unos parámetros básicos, que bien podrían ser los del lugar de residencia de cada uno.
No es pequeño el paso de Jachym en esta ocasión, pues amplía y facilita muchísimo el panorama de conocimientos al que podría aspirar cualquier aficionado a la clima/meteo.

thanks, yes, it is very interesting.
Koppen is the traditional system used most often, unfortunately, it was developed at the beginning of last century and is no longer very accurate. For example, it shows "subtropical climate" for the city where I live, even though we are definitely in the "temperate zone". The Trewartha classification is a newer system, which is build on Koppen, but adjusts the values to better reflect reality. It is also more difficult to calculate, but you do not have to worry about that because it is calculated by the script.
I made this plugin while I was preparing for my PhD exam from climatology which was yesterday :D One of the topics on the exam was climate classification and by doing this plugin I memorized it all :-)
The only problem for some of you could be the language... this is one of those plugins that has too much text to be easily translated using the system used by Meteotemplate, but hopefully people will understand it, at least the calculators should be easy to understand and use even without knowing English.
And to compensate for that I created that block for you which has forecast in Spanish :D That was actually quite difficult for me to make because I did not understand it... but hopefully it was worth it and it seems to be working fine :-)
