Veo que alguno de vosotros, dentro de algún bloque de MeteoTemplate, tiene algún trozo de página web embebida. No se si estáis utilizando el bloque en blanco que se puede descargar desde la web de Jachym. Si es así, ¿podríais compartir el código utilizado?

Lo utilizaría para aprender a ver si consigo publicar algo de mi antigua web.

New Year´s present - New Plugin - Calendar

Hi guys,

I just released a new plugin - sort of a present for you from me for the new year :-)

After years of trying (no, this is not a joke, I was trying to accomplish this already when I had my own page and there was no Meteotemplate), I have finally managed to successfully create scripts that generate fully functional PDF documents, which obviously are great if you want to print something and view it physically not just in a browser on a monitor.

I am releasing this a few days in advance because in case there are any bugs we can still work on it further and you can of course expect this PDF feature now being gradually implemented in other parts of the template as well :-)

This plugin allows you to create various PDF calendars - monthly, weekly, daily or a blank diary. These can include your station data as well, you set print/color version, create a booklet version ideal for printing and much more. It will also use your template settings for the colors, first day of the week, units, language etc.

Main features:
- monthly calendar with station data
- weekly calendar with station data
- daily calendar with station data
- blank weekly diary - sunrises/sunsets for your location, eclipses, moon phases etc.
- normal or booklet versions
- color or black/white (for print) versions
- units based on template settings, colors based on template settings, first day of the week based on template settings
- paper size selection (A4, Letter)
- language based on template settings
- and much more :-)

You do not need to set up this plugin in any way, just upload to your plugins directory. Then update your menu.php and in your menu settings add a link to this new plugin.

NOTE: PDFs in general are very difficult to work with and also quite demanding so please be patient, the calendar generation may take a while and so that you are not bored I implemented a script which will show you a random interesting fact while you are waiting for your calendar to be created :-)

In particular it is likely that the calendar script will be very slow on my server since many of you are likely to look at the same time.

Manómetros SteelSeries

Jachym ha elaborado y modificado para su plantilla, los famosos manómetros ("gauges") SteelSeries, creación de Mark Crossley.
Nos lo ha puesto muy fácil para poderlos tener en nuestras páginas, ya que los ha provisto de un constructor que nos permite controlar prácticamente todos los parámetros (tamaño, orden, tipo, colores ..etc).

La instalación es muy sencilla, ya que, tan solo hay que subir el plugin a nuestra web y entrar en el panel de control para personalizarlo.

Buenas noches amigos.

Estoy teniendo problemas para que el template detecte cual es la última versión que Jachym ha publicado de cada bloque o plugin. Al parecer es posible que sea debido a algún permiso de carpetas o ficheros de mi template. Lo tengo instalado en dos servidores diferentes, en uno, el que era para realizar pruebas (meteocarlet.net) funciona todo correctamente, pero justamente el que quería que fuera el definitivo (meteocarlet.com) es el que da esta serie de problemas. Tengo la web .com alojada en OVH.
¿alguien por casualidad ha tenido problemas similares?

Entendido, no sé, ya me enteraré.

Es decir, realmente sí detecta la versión que tienes de los plugins; aunque, según esa imágen, no informa de las últimas versiones disponibles.

Yo creo que al instalar un nuevo plugin, hay que acceder a la consola de administración y, entrar en cada uno de ellos (la primera vez desde la instalación).

Eso creia yo y siempre entro en cada bloque o plugin que tenga algo que modificar y aunque no cambie nada le doy al botón de guardar.

Yachym cree que es un problema de mi servidor web, como si tuviera respuestas muy lentas y el scrip que tiene que chequear la última versión del bloque o plugin se queda sin respuesta y no muestra información.

Entonces, .. no conozco la solución a este asunto; pero, en el fondo no se trata de un grave problema.

Jachym creó esa herramienta, muy útil, para estar siempre al día en cuanto a los "blocks" y "plugins"; pero, podemos conseguirlo de otra manera:

Plugins: http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/plugins.php, utilizando las flechas del encabezado de la tabla, ésta se reordena.

No me había dado cuenta de que puedes ordenar por columnas. Es una buena solución para que no se me pase ninguna actualización.

También he realizado consulta a OVH que es donde alojo la web pues cuando el template no consigue conectar para buscar la última versión da este error que queda registrado en el log:
