Davis WeatherLink.com Server Outage Resolved - Potential Data Loss
« en: 30 de Agosto del 2023, 05:09:02 am »
Dear WeatherLink Customer,

On August 25th we experienced a Weatherlink.com server issue that impacted the recording and storage of archive records. Your account has been identified as having at least one station that may have experienced this issue.

When:
Started on 8/25 at 12:00p Pacific and was resolved 8/28 at 9am Pacific.

Who:
Equipment potentially affected

USB/Ser dataloggers using Weatherlink Network Subscription
    WeatherLinkIP
    Vantage Connect
    EnviroMonitor

Equipment not affected

    WeatherLink Live
    AirLink
    WeatherLink Console

Details:
When the problem was resolved we were able to pull the prior 24 hours of archive data into your account but not the data from 8/25 12:00pm Pacific to 8/27 at 9am Pacific. You may notice this gap in data when looking at your archive records or plotting data on weatherlink.com. We are hopeful that we can retrieve this data also and are currently working to do just that. There is nothing you need to do and you will hopefully see the recovered data in your archive records soon.

If are having problems please feel to contact us at Davis Technical Support.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and wish you years of uninterrupted weather watching with your Davis equipment.

Thank you for your understanding,
All of us at Davis Instruments
