For LDS01 users
This notice is intended for customers who have purchased the Ecowitt LDS01.
In strong wind and heavy snowfall conditions, blowing snow may enter the device and cause temporary frosting on the laser surface, which can affect measurement stability.
The built-in heater is intentionally controlled to avoid overheating, so frosting may still occur during extreme blizzards.
For users in heavy snow or high-wind areas, we provide an optional 3D-printable protective cover file for your use, should you need it.

This cover is not required for normal operation.

Es decir, que si alguien lo tiene y lo tiene instalado donde caigan ventiscas de nieve gigantes, puede verse afectado a pesar de disponer de un calentador, y se soluciona con este "gorro" impreso en 3D que ha diseñado Ecowitt.
