Este pasado mes de septiembre se lanzaron dos actualizaciones de Weewx 5.5
5.5.1 y 5.5.2
Mientras que la 5.5.2 corregía algún problema menor, la 5.5.1 si contenía algún cambio interesante:
weectl extension uninstall no longer removes a configuration section that is still in use. A section was pruned as soon as it had no subsections left, so uninstalling any driver extension took all of [Station] with it, including the location and the coordinates. Fixes Issue #1131. PR #1132.
Help the user diagnose a corrupt Vantage logger. Provide a link to the fix. Fixes Issue #1105.
Fixed problem where the FineOffset USB driver could not be used under Python 3.12. Issue #1052. PR #1117.
Fixed problem that prevented WeeWX from being installed on openSUSE Leap 16. Unfortunately, the dependency python3-ephem is not available on Leap 16, so it must be added manually using pip. Fixes Issue #1065. PR #1121.
Saving the configuration file no longer changes its mode or ownership. Under a package installation, weectl extension install, weectl extension uninstall, weectl station reconfigure and weectl station upgrade were leaving weewx.conf as root:weewx 0644 instead of weewx:weewx 0660, so the weewx user could no longer edit it and the passwords in it became world-readable.
Removed the APRS "messaging-capable" packet flag from restx.py. PR #1108, by W0CHP.
Fixed problem where RESTful services would fail to start if both options rtfreq and archive_post were set in [[Wunderground]]. Also fixed problem where the Rapidfire mode would use the archive endpoint even if server_url was set. PR #1145. Thanks to user Robert!
Added a bash completion script for weectl, and a script to install it. PR #1110, by evilbunny2008.
