it looks like unfortunately the site that many of you use for updates (cron-jobs.org) had technical problems and this is what they posted on their homepage:

Unfortunately we experienced a partly data loss today (25th January, 2016). In case you cannot log in to your account anymore, please sign up again and re-create your jobs. We're sorry for the inconvenience this causes. We've already taken steps to prevent his in the future.

Therefore check your site as soon as possible and if it is showing "offline" then create a new profile and cron job for the updates.
